ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking for Police protection based on the representation made by the petitioner on 10.07.2023.

2. Heard M/s.P.G.Thiyagu, learned Counsel for the petitioners and Mr.A.Gopinath, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents 1 and 2.

3. It is seen from records that the petitioners have already approached this Court and filed W.P.No.8014 of 2023 seeking for Police protection for surveying the subject property and to demarcate the boundaries. During the pendency of the Writ Petition, the survey was conducted and hence it was reported before this Court and the Writ Petition was closed by order, dated 30.06.2023.

4. The petitioners state that they wanted to fence the property and when that attempt was made, once again the private respondents interfered with the said process. Hence representation was given to the respondent 2/5

Police in this regard. Since the same was not considered, the present Criminal Original Petition has been filed.

5. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the representation made by the petitioner dated 10.07.2023 is pending enquiry before the second respondent.

6. In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to call the parties for an enquiry and take a decision in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed off with the above direction.
