ORDER
The writ petition is filed seeking for a mandamus to direct the respondents to provide employment to the petitioner in the Shop No.460 with subsistence allowance based on the show cause notice dated 06.02.2025. The case of the petitioner is that he joined the respondent management on 29.11.2003 as Salesman. On 30.11.2024, he was suspended based on the complaint given by one Mr.G.Deva. Thereafter, a charge sheet was issued on 22.01.2025 and the petitioner gave his reply on 29.01.2025. Now the respondent management concluded that the charges were not proved against the petitioner. Hence the instant writ petition is filed seeking employment and subsistence allowance.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner would invite the attention of this Court to the enquiry report dated 07.04.2025, wherein the charges against the petitioner were not proved and hence seeks a direction to conclude the disciplinary proceedings as early as possible.

At this juncture, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents would fairly submit that the final orders will be passed within a reasonable time.

In such view of the matter, this Court without going into the merits of the matter, deems it appropriate to direct the second respondent to pass final orders in the disciplinary proceedings on it's own merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. As far as the subsistence allowance is concerned, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.06.2025 and pass orders on it's own merits and in accordance with law within a period of period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
In the result, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 02.07.2025 veda Index:Yes/No Speaking order/Non-speaking order
