Taking benefit of an interim order dated 23.12.2022, the three petitioners in these writ petitions participated in the counselling for admission to the Law course, two were successful, out of which one has joined the course.

2.Recording this position, this writ petition could well be closed. However, for the sake of completion, I record the conclusion in WP.No.18822 of 2022 (S.Karthi v. The Registrar, Tamil Nadu Dr.Ambedkar Law University and others) decision dated 23.12.2022 wherein very similar circumstances, a circular issued by the Bar Council of India dated 12.12.2022, touching upon the issue of admission to the Law Colleges has been extracted therein.
3.The Bar Council of India has stated therein that 'After consideration, it is resolved that the 3 year diploma / polytechnic course issued by an institution recognized by the Government shall be considered at par with +2 certificate for the purpose of admission to the 5 year integrated L.L.B. Degree Course.'.
