ORDER
The prayer in the writ petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.03.2019 for granting license/permission to run a petty (bunk) shop near Murugan Store Bus Stopping at Kamarajar Salai, K.K.Nagar, Ward No.132, within Kodambakkam Zonal Office, Corporation of Greater Chennai. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned standing counsel appearing for the respondent.

The case of the petitioner is that he being disabled person with 70% permanent disability intended to start a business of eatable by putting up a (bunk) petty shop near Murugan Store Bus Stopping or Sivan Park at K.K.Nagar, Chennai. Therefore, he has given a representation dated 13.03.2019 before https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
the respondent for getting vending license. Since his representation is kept pending for more than four months, the present writ petition is filed.
4.The learned standing counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that the Town Vending Committee constituted under Street Vendors Act has received the representation of the petitioner and the same will be considered as per the priority under the disabled persons quota. As far as the place, which the petitioner seeks to establish the petty shop is concerned, the Town Vending Committee has to survey and identify a place under Vending Zone. The petitioner cannot choose the place of his choice. The representation of the petitioner will be duly considered, when his turn under priority comes and the same will be communicated to him.
5. Recording the same, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
