The petitioner (party-in-person) is not present. Even on the last occasion, the petitioner was not present.

2. This petition is filed for transfer of further investigation in Cr.No.317 of 2022 pending on the file of the 3rd respondent to the file of CB-CID.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that on the complaint registered in Cr.No.317 of 2022 by the Inspector of Police, Ashok Nagar, Chennai, so far as the investigation not progressed. Hence it has been transferred to CB-CID.

4. When the matter was taken up for consideration on the last occasion, this Court directed the respondent police to file status report. Request been given to Cyber Crime Cell to collect the CDR Details of the accused mobile phone and sincere effect is taken to identify the accused and secure them.

5. The petitioner herein claims that attracted by the lucrative offers made he has invested Rs.3,52,000/-, later found that he has been duped, the address of the accused provided by the complainant is a rented premises which has been rented by one Saravanan for only three months and got vacated. Therefore, the respondent police is unable to trace the culprits.

6. In view of the report, this Court finds that there is no necessity to change the investigating agency except to direct the third respondent to continue the investigation and file final report as early as possible.

7. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
