This application is filed to condone the delay of 1352 days in filing the claim petition in File No.443/2000/57/1998-Max Worth Orchards/Claims in C.P.No.57 of 1998 before the Official Liquidator, Madras High Court in respect of the company in liquidation. In support of the application, the applicant has set out the circumstances under which the delay occurred in paragraph 4 of the affidavit. 2.The company in liquidation is represented by the Deputy Official Liquidator. He submits that the adjudication process is underway. 3.Upon considering the submissions of the applicant and on examining the affidavit, the applicant has made out sufficient cause to condone the delay. Consequently, Comp.A.No.316 of 2021 is allowed subject to the condition that the applicant shall file the claim in Form - 66 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
