Respondents [R3 to R5 impleaded as per order dated 4.1.2013 in M.P.1/2013] Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to pass orders in the petitioner's representation dated 22.10.2012, as per the direction of the 1st respondent's order, dated 4.5.2012, within a time frame.

Heard the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the petitioner, as well as the 1st and 2nd respondents.

At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that it would suffice, if this Court passes an order directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 22.10.2012, pursuant to the order passed by the 1st respondent, dated 4.5.2012.

3. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondents 1 and 2 has no objection for such an order being passed by this Court.
4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the parties concerned, the 2nd respondent is directed to dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 22.10.2012, if it had not been disposed of till date, pursuant to the order passed by the 1st respondent, dated 4.5.2012, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the other persons concerned, if any. The petitioner is directed to furnish a copy of the representation, dated 22.10.2012, to the 2nd respondent, along with a copy of this order. However, it is made clear that this Court, by this order, has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter.
5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of, with the above directions. No costs.
