This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the official communication Letter No.TNTEU/R/ELI/Circular/2018/81 dated 12.02.2018 of the second respondent university and the consequential order issued vide Lr.
No.TNTEU/R/Elig/B.Ed/Admission 2018-19/171 dated 18.07.2018 in so far as the last date of admission to the courses in Self Financing Colleges of Education as 08.08.2018 at 05.54 PM and quash the same and direct the respondents to permit the Private Colleges of Education to admit the students up to 16.11.2018 as it was fixed in the previous years.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the second respondent has agreed to extend the time by one month upto 08.09.2018 for admitting students in B.Ed., M.Ed., course in Self Financing Colleges of Education during the academic year 2018-19.
3. The learned counsel for the second respondent has also confirmed that they have extended the time up to 08.09.2018.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner is satisfied with the extension of time up to 08.09.2018 and therefore, seeks indulgence of this Court to close the Writ Petition recording the aforesaid undertaking given by the learned counsel for the second respondent regarding extension of time for admitting the students.
5. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is closed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are also closed.
