These petitions are filed by the petitioner(s) / appellant(s) / claimant(s) seeking to condone the delay of 579 days in filing the above Appeal.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner / appellant. Despite serving notice on the second respondent and their name printed in the cause-list, there is no representation on behalf of them.
3. In view of the said submission, having regard to the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this petition and being satisfied with the same, the delay of 579 days in filing the above Appeal is condoned subject to the following conditions:- (i) The petitioner(s) / appellant(s) shall pay a sum of Rs.500/- each as costs to the "Tamil Nadu State Legal Services Authority, Chennai" on or before 27.11.2019 failing which these applications shall stand dismissed automatically without further reference to this Court.
(ii) The petitioner(s) / appellant(s) / claimant is not entitled to any interest for the default period, in the event of succeeding in the Appeal.
4. These petitions are ordered accordingly.
