O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to issue a direction directing the respondents to investigate the case and file a Final Report in Crime No.380 of 2021 on the file of the second respondent police, within a stipulated period fixed by this Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing on behalf of the respondent police.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had lodged a complaint and a case came to be registered in Crime No.380 of 2021, for the offence under Sections 294(b), 506(ii) IPC, 3(1)(r) and 3(1)(s) of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act 2015. Though the respondent police has registered a case in the above said Crime Number, no charge sheet is filed till date.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent Police would submit that in this case investigation is completed and the respondent police may be permitted to file the final report, within a period of two months.

5.In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of two months, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
