By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself.

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the second respondent to survey and fix the boundaries of the petitioner's land comprised in Survey No.157/16 measuring an extent of 0.16.00 Hec., situated at Amarakundhi Village, Omalur Taluk, Salem District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 20.06.2024.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

The grievance of the petitioner is that he has paid the requisite fees to survey the property and demarcate its boundaries in Survey No.157/16 situated at Amarakundhi Village, Omalur Taluk, Salem District. In this regard, the petitioner has also given representation on 20.06.2024. 2/4
However, the same has not been considered by the second respondent. Hence, he seeks a direction.

Considering the limited nature of the relief sought for in the present Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.06.2024 and pass appropriate orders, for survey of the property and demarcate its boundaries, after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners and any other interested persons, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
