This petition has been filed seeking to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.785 of 2021, dated 06.12.2021 on the file of respondent.

2. Heard Mr.H.Thameem Ansari, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for State/respondent.

3. The Government has already taken a decision in G.O.(Ms) No.368, dated 04.09.2021 to drop all the cases where action was initiated against persons protesting against NPR, NRC and CAA.

In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and 2/4
