Mr.L.S.M.Hasan Fizal, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents.
2.The writ petition has been filed almost after a lapse of 2 years. The petitioner has now filed this writ petition to direct the respondents to award one mark to the petitioner for Question Nos.47 and 120 in 'D' series question and answer book in the examination conducted for the Post of SubInspector of Police under 20% Departmental Quota for the year https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2019 and to select and appoint him as a Sub-Inspector of Police (AR) and to grant him all consequential service and monetary benefits.
3.It is the case of the petitioner that for the same question during the previous selection the answer given by the petitioner was accepted as the correct answer and based on the key answer published during the previous recruitment. Though the petitioner may have a case on merits, it is noticed that the petitioner has approached this Court long after the selection and the recruitment is over. Therefore, this writ petition is liable to be dismissed on account of latches. 3.This writ petition is therefore dismissed with the above observations. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
