O R D E R

The petitioner was not permitted to participate in the process of selection for appointment to the post of Junior Assistant.

2. The respondents, while scrutinising the application submitted by the writ petitioner, found that the writ petitioner completed his degree through Open University System, which is held as invalid by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India and the Government of Tamil Nadu also issued Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.107, the petitioner had not obtained the degree qualification through Regular UGC Pattern i.e., 10 + 2 + 3. Therefore, the application submitted by the writ petitioner was rejected. Now the process of recruitment had been completed. 2/4

3. This being the factum, this Court do not find any infirmity in respect of the order of rejection passed by the second respondent, which is impugned in the present writ petition.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
