2. The contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that on earlier occasion, when the petitioner approached this Court seeking transfer of investigation, it was submitted by the learned Public Prosecutor that the final report was already filed. Believing the same, when the petitioner filed a copy application before the concerned Court, it was returned stating that no charge sheet has been filed.
3. When the matter came up before this Court on 30.06.2025, this Court had directed the learned Additional Mahila Court, Perambalur to file a report regarding the final report filed in Crime No.248 of 2023. Registry received the said report and placed before this Court today (14.07.2025).
4. A perusal of the report shows that the investigation in Crime No.248 of 2023 was already over and the charge sheet filed through e-filing on 07.05.2025 was taken on file in C.C.No.218 of 2025.
5. In view of the above, the relief sought for the petitioner has become infructuous. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 3/6
