This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to register the FIR in connection with C.S.R.No.357 of 2022, dated 18.07.2022 on the file of the second respondent police.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that she was assaulted by the neighbouring land owners viz., Madhan, Sarasu and Selvaraj; in this connection, she has given a complaint to the second respondent and no action has been taken so far on the said complaint; therefore, she is before this Court.

5. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the
petitioner did not agree to settle the issue; but only out of the coercion and influence, the petitioner needed to sign the memo prepared by the second respondent.
6. However, it is now learnt that the petitioner has sent a complaint to the superior officer namely the first respondent herein on 19.07.2022. In that event, the first respondent is directed to send the same to the second respondent for taking appropriate action with due directions.
