ORDER

The petitioner is facing a complaint of theft of machinery. Hence, the police summoned the petitioner to participate in the enquiry. The petitioner instead of participating in the enquiry, filed this present Criminal Original Petition alleging that the police is harassing him in a civil dispute. If the complaint of Karthigeswari makes out an offence of theft of machinery, then it cannot be a civil dispute for the police to keep their hands away from investigation.

2. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed and the petitioner is directed to participate in the investigation and cooperate instead of resisting investigation.
