Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the second respondent in respect of the proceedings dated 27.05.2024 under Rule 46(2) of the Life Insurance Corporation of India (Staff) Rules, 1960 against the petitioner with S.R.No.575301 and quash the same as illegal and direct the respondents to make reappraisal of the 1/4
petitioners e-APAR report for the period 01.04.2023 to 31.03.2024 without reference to the said Disciplinary order passed by the first respondent.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the second respondent in respect of the proceedings dated 27.05.2024 under Rule 46(2) of the Life Insurance Corporation of India (Staff) Rules, 1960 against the petitioner with S.R.No.575301 and quash the same as illegal and direct the respondents to make reappraisal of the petitioners e-APAR report for the period 01.04.2023 to 31.03.2024 without reference to the said Disciplinary order passed by the first respondent.
2.Though the petitioner has preferred an appeal against the impugned order dated 27.05.2024, parallelly the above order has also been challenged before the revisional authority. Considering such revision petition, the revisional authority has passed order on 06.03.2025 reducing the penalty to one of censure. 2/4
3.In such view of the subsequent development, the present writ petition becomes infructuous. However, the petitioner is granted liberty to challenge the order passed by the revisional authority dated 06.03.2025 in accordance with law.
4.The writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
