ORDER

Today, this matter is listed under the caption "For Being Mentioned" at the instance of the learned counsel for the petitioner.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, inadvertently, his name has been wrongly mentioned as G.Tamilselvan instead of S.Tamilselvan in the petition itself, and thereby, the name of the learned counsel for the petitioner has been wrongly reflected in the order of this Court dated 13.08.2025 as well and therefore, he prays for modification of the same.

3. In view of the above, Registry is directed to carry out the necessary correction in respect of the appearance of the learned counsel for the petitioner in the above said order dated 13.08.2025 and issue a fresh copy of the order to the learned counsel for the parties.

ORDER

The wife, who is the respondent in HMOP No.5111 of 2023 pending on the file of V Additional Family Court, Chennai is the revision petitioner herein, seeks transfer of the said proceedings to Sub Court, Vandavasi.

2. Despite service of notice, the respondent has neither chosen to appear in person nor through counsel. Therefore, the respondent is called absent and set exparte. Therefore, I

have proceeded to hear the learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner/wife resides at Sethupattu Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District and she finds it difficult to travel all the way from Sethupattu to Family Court, Chenai, to attend the proceedings initiated by the respondent/husband.

4. I have gone through the affidavit filed in support of the transfer petition. I am satisfied with the reasons assigned by the petitioner/wife, seeking transfer of the proceedings from the file of V Additional Family Court, Chennai.

5. Accordingly, Tr.C.M.P is allowed and the proceedings in HMOP No.5111 of 2023 pending on the file of V Additional Family Court, Chennai is withdrawn and the same is transferred to Sub Court, Vandavasi.

6. The V Additional Family Court, Chennai is directed to send the entire records relating to HMOP No.5111 of 2023 to the file of Sub Court, Vandavasi forthwith. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 13.08.2025 Index: Yes/No
