For Petitioner : M/s.J.Antony Jesus For Respondent : No appearance O R D E R This Civil Revision Petition has been filed by the revision petitioner seeking direction to the Sub Court, Avinashi to dispose of H.M.O.P.No.122 of 2016 within a stipulated period.

2. Having regard to the limited prayer made in the revision petition, this Court is inclined to dispose of the Civil Revision Petition, even without notice to the respondent.

3. The revision petitioner appeared to have filed a petition for divorce in

the year 2014 before the Sub Court, Tiruppur district in H.M.O.P.No.197 of 2014 and the same has been transferred to the Sub Court, Avinashi and renumbered as H.M.O.P.No.122 of 2016.

4. Perusal of the docket entry would suggest that Original Petition was posted for cross examination of P.W.1 on 16.12.2018 and thereafter there is no substantial progress. When the case came up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the Original Petition is only at the stage of cross examination of P.W.1. The learned counsel further submitted that he has been paying the interim maintenance properly and there is no arrears of interim maintenance as of today and the same is recorded. In the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the Sub Judge, Avinashi, to dispose of H.M.O.P.No.122 of 2016 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
