The petitioner herein seeks a direction to 1st respondent to dispose the appeal dated 17.04.2024 pending on its file.

2. The petitioner preferred an appeal dated 17.04.2024 before the 1st respondent challenging the order passed by the 2nd respondent granting patta in favour of respondents 3 to 7.

3. Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2.

4. In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner seeking disposal of the appeal pending on the file of 1st respondent, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal preferred by the petitioner dated 17.04.2024 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order 2/4
