This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.307 of 2010. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] appearing for the respondent.

3.On the complaint lodged by one Palanivel, Chairman of Amala Educational Trust, the respondent Police have registered a case in Crime No.307 of 2010 on 28.12.2010 under Section 147, 294[b], 448, 420 and 506[ii] IPC against five accused. 4.Today, Mr.A.Annamalai, SSI, Poolampatti Police Station, Salem District is present before this Court. On instructions, the learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] submitted that a copy of the FIR itself is not available in the file of the Police Station.

5.In view of the above, this Court directs the respondent Police to obtain a certified copy of the FIR and complaint in Crime No.307 of 2010 from the Court of Judicial Magistrate No.I, Sangagiri, Salem and the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Sangagiri is directed to furnish a certified copy to the Police within one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Police shall complete the investigation in Crime No.307 of 2010 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the FIR and either file a closure report or a charge sheet as the case may be, under due intimation to the de facto complainant.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
