The petitioner filed a writ petition seeking Terminal benefits of her Husband who died in the year 1994, there was a rival claim in between Mangalammal claimed to be the second wife, and on perusal of the affidavit there was a civil dispute in between the petitioner and one Mangalammal, now I came to understand the second appeal is pending before this Court, regarding the Marital status of the deceased person. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. In view of the above, Mandamus cannot be granted in favour of the petitioner it is needless to say after the outcome of the Civil Court proceedings, the first respondent will take further course of action. Accordingly the writ petition is disposed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
