With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. This writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.05.2024 seeking to process the petitioner's application No. 2024/0105/32/349354 dated 08.04.2024 for issuance of sub-division patta transfer within a stipulated time.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

4. According to the petitioner, she had purchased a property in S.No.650/2 measuring 1.08 acres at Madampoor Village, Palladam Taluk, vide Sale Deed dated 17.09.1989, which was registered as document No.616 of 1989 on the file of the SRO, Palladam and obtained patta No.792; she submitted an application No.2024/0105/32/349354 dated 08.04.2024 to the 1st respondent, 2/4

seeking issuance of separate patta by subdividing the portion purchased by her and also paid necessary fees; since the said application was not processed, she sent a representation dated 15.05.2024 to the 1st respondent to take action; however, the same is kept pending; hence the present writ petition.

Considering the limited relief scope of the relief sought in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 15.05.2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
