Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to lift the illegal ban imposed to offer worship of "Sagai Varthal" (rhif thh;j;jy;) and other related functions for the deities Sri Aaliamman, Sri Ayyanar and Sri Mariamman at Vadamambakkam Village, Ulundurpet Taluk and thereby direct the respondents to give permission and protection to conduct the above village temple festival to be conducted in the present Tamil month of 'Aadi' of this year 2018 including porridge offering (TH; Cj;Jjy; ) etc., festival.

ORDER
When the matter is taken up, both the learned counsel for the petitioner (A group) and the learned counsel for the impleaded sixth respondent (B group) submitted that both the groups are ready to conduct this year's annual village festival jointly. In fact, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's group is prepared to give away the contributions to the sixth respondent's group for the conduct of this year's village temple festival in the Tamil month of 'Aadi' peacefully.

It is at this stage, the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 5 submitted that the Tahsildar, Ulundurpet, the fourth respondent herein will convene a peace committee meeting any time on 31.07.2018 in respect of the conduct of the village temple festival, who will accept two names from each group (A & B) for constitution of the Village Festival Committee and they would be entitled to receive the contributions and conduct the festival after fixing the festival date in the Tamil month of 'Aadi' of this year.
3. Since the learned counsel appearing for both groups also agreed for the said course, this writ petition is disposed of directing the Tahsildar, Ulundurpet, the fourth respondent herein to hold a peace committee meeting on 31.07.2018 at 5.00 PM to constitute the Festival Committee comprising two members from each group for the conduct of this year's village temple festival in the Tamil month of 'Aadi' on the mutually agreed date. For this purpose, both the groups representing the petitioner and the sixth respondent are directed to participate in the meeting to be convened by the fourth respondent on 31.07.2018 and cooperate with him for the smooth conduct of this year's village temple festival in the Tamil month of 'Aadi'.
