Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of a Writ of Declaration, declaring Clause 3 (a) in page No.2 of the prospectus of Tamil Nadu Common Admission 2013 as null and void and against Article 341 of the Constitution of India and the same will not bind the petitioner and consequently direct the 1st respondent to select and admit the petitioner under S.C. quota & community rank in M.E. Course without insisting on separate nativity certificate from the second respondent.

O R D E R

The petitioner challenged Clause 3(a) of the prospectus for admission to M.E. course for the academic year 2013-2014. At the time of admitting the writ petition, this Court has not granted any interim order to the petitioner.

2. Thus, considering the fact that the relief sought for in this writ petition, which is, in respect of the academic year 2013-2014 and further considering the fact that no interim order protecting the interest of the petitioner having granted in this matter, this Court is of the view that nothing survives in this writ petition to be adjudicated further.

3. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
