O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to re-survey the lands and rectify the survey filed map in respect of part of Survey No.70(part), New Survey No.70/1A2 (Part) and 70/1A1B (Part) measuring 14,868 sq.ft of vacant land situate at Korattur Village, Ambattur Taluk, Thiruvallur District and consequently issue patta in the petitioner's favour within a time frame. 2.It is the case of the petitioner that inspite of his application dated 29.11.2018 and the reminder dated 26.09.2019, the respondents 2 & 4 have not passed any order so far. 3.Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader, taking notice for the respondents, submitted that the respondents 2 & 4 may be directed to consider the petitioner's application and the reminder and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks.

4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondents 2 & 4 to consider the petitioner's application dated 29.11.2018 and the reminder dated 26.09.2019 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
