ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking to amend the Jurisdiction of Court as V Judicial Magistrate, Tiruchirappalli instead of Judicial Magistrate, Tiruchirappalli in Crl.O.P.No.13953 of 2025 dated 21.05.2025. 1/4

The learned cousnel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail by this Court, vide order dated 21.05.2025 in Crl.O.P.No.13953 of 2025. He further submitted that at the time of filing of anticipatory bail application, the satisfaction Court was mentioned as Judicial Magistrate Court at Tiruchirappalli and sought for amendment of the satisfaction Court as V Judicial Magistrate, Tiruchirappalli. He also submitted while granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner, this Court imposed one of the condition that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily, until further orders, since the petitioner is the resident of Tiruchirappalli, he was unable to comply with the same, hence sough for modification of the same to any police station in Tiruchirappalli. 3.
The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent raised strong objection by stating that the petitioner along with other accused had committed cheating, involving huge sum of money. Further, the petitioner is required for the purpose of investigation by the respondent police and also the jurisdiction of the satisfaction Court was erroneously mentioned in the anticipatory bail application filed by the petitioner. He further submitted that, it would be appropriate that the petitioner shall execute sureties and bond, as per the order of this Court in 2/4
Crl.O.P.No.13953 of 2025 dated 21.05.2025 before the learned Judicial Magistrate - I, Kallakurichi instead of Judicial Magistrate Court at Tiruchirappalli.

Considering the submissions made on both sides, this Court directs the petitioner to execute sureties and bond as imposed on him by this Court, vide order dated 21.05.2025 in Crl.O.P.No.13953 of 2025 before the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Kallakurichi instead of Judicial Magistrate Court, Thiruchirapalli and also the condition in para No.7(b) imposed on the petitioner is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police for a period of two weeks and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation. 5.
Accordingly, this criminal miscellaneous petition is ordered.
