ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.02.2026.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made a representation dated 03.02.2026 to cancel the patta No.223 in respect of Government Poramboke land comprised in S.No.219/2, to an extent of 3 cents, situated at Kolatheri Village, Walajah Nagar, Sholinghur Taluk, Ranipet District, which was fraudulently obtained by the fourth respondent. However, the said representation was not considered as on date. Hence, this writ petition.

Ms.Inthu Karunakaran, learned Government's Counsel accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 to 3 and fairly submitted that the disputed property is a Government Poramboke land and patta was issued to the fourth respondent. Since the petitioner is a neighbour, his illegal enjoyment was prevented. Hence, he made this kind of representation. Accordingly, she prays for appropriate orders.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

5. As rightly contended by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the subject land is situated adjacent to the petitioner's property. It was originally a Government Poramboke land, from which three cents were subsequently allotted to the fourth respondent, and a patta was duly issued. Such being the case, the petitioner's representation is nothing but an attempt to harass both the fourth respondent and the concerned officials. In the event that the aforementioned patta is cancelled, the petitioner clearly intends to occupy and enjoy the subject property, which appears to be the sole motivation behind this representation. Therefore, this Court cannot entertain such vexatious litigation, and no indulgence shall be extended to consider the petitioner's representation.

6. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed with costs of Rs.1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand only). The petitioner shall pay the said costs to the Tamil Nadu State Legal Services Authority (TNSLSA), High Court Campus, Chennai - 600104, within a period of one (1) week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event of non-compliance, the first respondent is directed to initiate recovery proceedings to recover the aforesaid amount under the Revenue Recovery Act. No costs.
