ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to dispose the petitioner representation dated 08.09.2021 based on the circular issued by the first respondent vide Letter No.20217/U1/2021, dated 09.07.2021 regarding fraudulent registration within a reasonable time that may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court. 2.Heard Mr.P.Rajavel, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. 3.The petitioner lodged a complaint before the first and second respondents with regard to fraudulent registration in respect of the subject property comprised in Old Survey No.13/2A, New Survey No.13/2A1 to an extent of 48 cents and the property comprised in Survey No.13/2A2 ad-measuring 31 cents situated at Kannivakkam Village, Thiruporur Sub Registration Office, Chengalpet District, against the respondents 4 and 5 herein. On receipt of the same, the second respondent did not conduct any enquiry till today.
4.Considering the above, the second respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, dated 08.09.2021 on the basis of the circular issued by the first respondent, dated 09.07.2021 in Letter No.20217/U1/2021, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the respondents 4 and 5 herein and after giving them an opportunity of hearing, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
