Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to re-survey the lands and rectify the survey filed map in respect of part of survey No.70(part) New survey Nos.70/1A2 (part) and 70/1A1B (part) Measuring 12600 sq.ft., of Vacant land, situate at Korattur Village, Ambattur Taluk, Chennai District (Previously Thiruvallur District), and consequently issue Patta in favour of the petitioner within a reasonable time frame as this Court may fix.

ORDER
The petitioner has applied a petition to the 2nd respondent/Tahsildar vide his representation dated 26.09.2019 for sub-division of his property and issuance of patta.
2. As things did not appear to be moved the petitioner has now approached this Court for a directing the revenue officials concerned for disposing the said petition. 3.Mr.G.Rajesh, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents and made a statement on instructions that an enquiry is fixed at 11.00 a.m., on 01.02.2021.
4. The said statement of the learned Special Government Pleader is recorded.
5.Since the enquiry is already fixed, no further direction is required to be made at this stage except that the 2nd respondent is directed to issue notice to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision and after providing the parties a fair and effective hearing, to dispose of the matter through a speaking order within a period of eight(8) weeks from 01.02.2021.
