ORDER

This petition is filed seeking direction to the second respondent not to harass the petitioner on the pretext of the complaint by one Rajendra Kumar Lunia.

2. The petitioner had sent a representation dated 04.06.2023 to the first and second respondent. On perusal of the same it is seen that it is the explanation given to the petitioner for the enquiries. He had submitted that one Rajendra Kumar Lunia of Pattlam is a Director of M/s. Coastal Plastochem Pvt. Ltd., Speed King Carriers and RKJ Shipping and Logistics Private Limited. There are some cases against the said Rajendra Kumar Lunia and he is under the watch of Customs and DRI officials. He had also filed a case before the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum (North) Chennai against the Chief Manager and the Regional Manager of Union Bank of India and it is pending. Now to create the defense for the cases against him, he had lodged a false complaint.

Earlier he had given a complaint before the Nolambur Police Station during April 2026 and the same was enquired and closed. Thereafter, he again preferred a complaint before the Assistant Commissioner of Police, K4 Anna Nagar Police Station that was also closed. Now, the petitioner had also filed a complaint before G1 - Vepery Police Station. The petitioner, apart from giving explanations, had also submitted documents which were in his possession.

contrary to the same, the second respondent in the guise of enquiry and calling upon the petitioner at odd times and in short intervals and thereby causing harassment.

The learned Counsel for Govt. of Tamil Nadu submitted that second respondent would be advised and instructed not to harass the petitioner and if the petitioner is required for any enquiry, appropriate summons would be issued to him and in any event, the enquiry will be completed within a period of two months.
