Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to make a complaint to the appropriate Court of Law under Section 72 of the Indian Post Office Act, based on the complaint of the petitioner dated 07.06.2013 and the proceedings of the third respondent DR/AKM/13, dated ../11/2013.

(Central Government) for the respondents and perused the materials available on record. There was no representation on the side of the petitioner.

2. The learned Senior Panel Counsel (Central Government) for the respondents submitted that the petitioner passed away on 10.05.2017, but no steps were taken to bring the legal representatives to pursue in this Writ Petition. When the Writ Petition was taken up for hearing on 29.06.2018 also, there was no representation for the petitioner.

3. In the light of the above fact, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. There is no order as to costs.
