ORDER
This petition has been filed to relax the condition imposed in Crl.OP.No.8453/2026 dated 06/04/2026 directing the Petitioners to report before the Respondent police twice a day at 10.30 am and 5.30 pm for a period of 90 days and thereafter as and when required for interrogation.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners have complied the condition without any violation and since they are the daily wage workers, they find difficult to comply the condition. Hence, prayed to relax the condition in Crl.OP.No.8453 of 2026.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the direction is to comply the condition for 90 days and the period is not yet completed and in the meantime, the petitioners have filed this petition and hence objected to relax the condition.
4. From the submissions made on either side, this Court is inclined to modify the condition. Accordingly, the condition imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.8453 of 2026 that the "petitioners shall report before the respondent
police daily at 10.30 am and 5.30 pm..." is modified to the effect that "the petitioners shall report before the respondent police twice a day at 10.30 am and 5.30 pm on alternative days....".
5. With the above direction, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition stands ordered.
