ORDER
The petitioners have filed this Writ petition seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider and pass orders on petitioners representation dated 03.06.2019.
2. The case of the petitioners is that the petitioners are the agriculturists who are cultivating their agricultural lands and free electricity connection was supplied to their lands. While being so, the electrical wires passing through their lands were cut by some miscreants due to which the electricity supply connection was interrupted. Thereafter, the petitioner had informed the same to the Respondents 1 & 2 and the 1st Respondent assured the petitioners that steps would be taken to restore the electricity supply connection vide proceedings dated 25.04.2018 after which no steps were taken by the Respondents with regard to restoration of electricity supply connection. Therefore, the petitioners made a detailed representation dated 03.06.2019 to the Respondents 1 & 2, however, till date, no action has been taken on his representation. Hence, the present Writ Petition is filed seeking the above relief.
3. Though very many grounds have been raised, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that it would suffice if this Court directs the Respondents 1 & 2 to consider the petitioners representation dated 03.06.2019 and pass appropriate orders on the same within a particular time frame fixed by this Court.
4. The learned Government Advocate submits that the petitioner's representation will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed by the Respondents within a particular time frame fixed by this Court.
5. In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case directs the Respondents 1 & 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.06.2019 along with relevant documents and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with the aforesaid direction. No costs.
