Writ Petition in W.P.No.22573 of 2026 has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of a Mandamus directing the respondents 2 and 3 to settle the
gratuity, due to the petitioners for the services rendered by her for more than 15 years from June 29, 2015 to January 09, 2023 forthwith together with interest.
2. The case of the petitioners is that they submitted multiple representations via email to the respondents seeking the disbursement of gratuity with interest. They also filed Form I before the respondents on 28.01.2025 and 08.12.2025 respectively. However, the respondents are yet to consider these submissions. Aggrieved by this inaction, the petitioners have approached this Court.
3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the first respondent

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for both sides, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the concerned respondent to consider the representation of the petitioners seeking disbursement of their gratuity with interest and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
