O R D E R

The instant writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned suspension order passed by the respondent by the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.121/B1/CV/2025 dated 25.04.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent.

3. It is the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that, although allegations were made against him for selling liquor at a higher price, he was on leave on that particular day. But it is premature to consider the above defense. Hence, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the impugned suspension at this stage. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to approach the disciplinary authority by submitting a proper representation.

4. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed, granting liberty to the petitioner to submit a representation to the respondent within a period of one week seeking revocation of the suspension. On receipt of such 2/4

representation, the respondent is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks thereafter.

5. In the result, this Writ Petition is dismissed with the above liberty. No costs.
