O R D E R

The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking for a direction to the respondent to register a case on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 18.12.2015.

2. The petitioners lodged a complaint on 18.12.2015 for the alleged occurrence that took place on 16.12.2015 and they have not received the acknowledgment. But the respondent has not shown any interest to enquire the matter and register the case. Hence, the petitioners have come forward with this petition for the above stated direction.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the complaint is yet to be received by the respondent.

4. Considering the rival submissions made on both sides, the petitioners are directed to file a fresh complaint before the respondent. On receipt of the same, the respondent is directed to conduct enquiry and follow the dictum laid down in Lalitha Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P & others [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC) and register a case, if any cognizable offence is made out. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
