ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction, directing the third respondent to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 29.10.2016 and dispose of the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner submitted a complaint as against the appointment of the seventh respondent as Village Assistant of Jagir Ammapalayam, Salem District. After a period of eight years, now the petitioner sought for direction to consider the representation submitted by him.

4. In view of the above, after a period of eight years, the direction sought for in this writ petition cannot be considered. Thus, the writ petition lacks merits and is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
