This petition has been filed to enlarge the petitioner on bail in Spl. C.C. No. 42 of 2023 on the file of Learned Special judge for EC/NDPS Act Cases, Salem District.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the respondent police found the accused person with illegal possession of 340 kgs of Ganja. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he prays to allow this petition.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) submits that the

contraband seized from the accused person is commercial quantity. Hence, he raised objection to grant bail.

5. Considering the fact that the contraband seized from the petitioner is commercial quantity and also the petitioner is having 8 previous cases. Hence, this Court is not inclined to allow this petition. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed.
