O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the Court below to expedite and dispose of C.C.No.4767 of 2016 on the file of FTC-III, Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Saidapet, Chennai, within a 1/4

time frame fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner had already filed Crl.O.P.No.19567 of 2021 before this Court seeking for a similar prayer and this Court, by order dated 28.10.2021, directed the case to be completed within a period of three months.

3. Pursuant to the above order, one of the accused person had approached this Court seeking for quashing the proceedings by filing Crl.O.P.No.21812 of 2021. This petition was allowed by order dated 27.09.2022 and the proceedings were quashed insofar as A2 is concerned.

4. The grievance of the petitioner is that till date, the case has not been disposed of by the Court below and hence, left with no other option, the present petition has been filed before this Court.

5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the case is now at the stage of cross-examination of PW-1, there shall be a direction to the Court below to complete the 2/4

proceedings and pass final orders within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Court below shall send a compliance report after completion of the proceedings. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
