(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded judicial custody on 16.10.2020 for the offences punishable under Sections 392, 394 of IPC and later altered into one under Sections 392, 394 & 397 of IPC in Crime No.483 of 2019 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing on behalf of the respondent, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner has been detained under Act 14 of 1982 in D.O.No.69 of 2020 dated 08.12.2020 by the Orders of the District Collector, Thiruvallur.
