ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by V.BHARATHIDASAN, J.) The petitioner is the father of one Karunakaran, aged about 19 years. His son Karunakaran has been beaten by some identifiable persons and as a result, he was admitted in Kancheepuram Government Hospital. Subsequently, he was discharged on 30.04.2016. Thereafter, from 30.04.2016 onwards, he was found missing. Hence, the petitioner made a complaint to the 2nd respondent and a case has also been registered for 'man missing'. Since no action has been taken to trace the detenue, the petitioner has come up with this Habeas Corpus Petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2. Today when the matter was taken up, there was no representation for the petitioner.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions would submit that already they are investigating the case, however, the petitioner is not co-operating with the investigation. He would further submit that even the photographs of the detenu has not been given.
4. In the circumstances, the 2nd respondent is directed to continue the investigation and take steps to secure the detenue.
5. With this observation, the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
