O R D E R

1. The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the 1st respondent to dispose the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 19.06.2018 challenging the order of suspending the license of the petitioner for the period of six months from 17.02.2018 to 16.08.2018. But, so far the appeal is not disposed of. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner.

2. I have heard the rival submissions made by Mr.A.Rajaram, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned counsel for Respondent.

3. Today, when the matter taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the suspension period has already been over by 16.08.2018 and no further adjudication is required in the appeal. Further, since the original license has been seized by the 3rd respondent, the 3rd respondent may be directed to return the license to the petitioner.

4. On considering the fact that already the suspension period is over by 16.08.2018, the 3rd respondent is directed to return the original license to the petitioner within a period of one week from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the present writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
