Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to dispose of petitioner's representation dated 08.06.2024 for classification of the land and issuance of patta to the petitioners.

The petitioners herein seek a direction to the second respondent to dispose of the petitioners' representation dated 08.06.2024 seeking reclassification of the land and issuance of patta to the petitioners. 2/6

2. According to the petitioners, they have been in possession and enjoyment of the land in S.Nos.391, 392, 394, 395, 396, 397, 405, 406, 407, 408, 409, 410, 411, 412 and 413 situated at Belamaranahalli Village and also land in S.No.102, situated at Thirumalvadi Village, Dharmapuri District.

3. According to the petitioners, they have been doing cultivation in the above mentioned property for quiet a long time and obtained a decree for injunction before the District Munsif Court, Dharmapuri District. They submitted a representation to the second respondent seeking reclassification of the land and issuance of patta in their name. The said representation has not been considered by the second respondent so far. Therefore, the petitioners are before this Court.

4. Mr.A.Selvendran, the learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 5 would submit that the second respondent will dispose of the petitioners' representation within a time fixed by this Court.

5. In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioners, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the second 3/6

respondent to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 08.06.2024 and pass final orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
