ORDER
(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the alleged offences under Sections 294(b), 397 and 506(ii) IPC in Crime No.2290 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that on 20.08.2020 at about 06.45 a.m., when the defacto complaint supplying water cane, the petitioner along with three others robbed his mobile and ATM cards in knife point. Hence, the complaint.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person, and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner and other three accused persons robbed the mobile and ATM Cards of the defacto complainant. He further submits that the petitioner is a habitual offender and there are four previous cases pending against him. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5.It is seen that the petitioner is a habitual offender, and there are five previous cases pending against the petitioner. Considering the same, this court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
