G.K.ILANTHIRAIYAN, J.

The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(ii) of IPC in Crime No.328 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that there was a money dispute already existing between the petitioner and the defacto complainant, due to which, the petitioner along with another went to the defacto complainant's house and scolded him with filthy language, in turn, he questioned against him., they assaulted him with iron rod, threatened him with dire consequences and also caused injuries to him. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any such offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. 1/3

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the petitioner along with another assaulted the defacto complainant with deadly weapons and caused injuries to him. He would further submit that the injured has been discharged from the hospital and he would also submit that there are four previous pending as against the petitioner. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Taking into consideration the facts and submissions of the learned Counsel and also the fact that there are four previous cases pending against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 16.08.2022 vv - 2/3
