This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.59 of 2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondentPolice and perused the materials available on record.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has given a complaint as against the accused persons before the respondent-Police and the same was registered in Crime No.59 of 2025 on 10.02.2025. Since the respondent-Police has not filed a final report so far, the petitioner is constrained to file this criminal original petition.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent/Police submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, case in Crime No.59 of 2025 was registered against the accused persons for the offences under Section 316(2), 318(2) and 61(2) of BNSS 2023, on 10.02.2025 and he sought time to complete the investigation and to file a final report.

5. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent-Police to complete the investigation and to file a final report as early as possible.

6. With the abovesaid direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
