This miscellaneous petition has been filed to condone the delay of 251 days in filing the appeal.

2. Heard both sides.

3. Though notice has been served on the respondentS on 24.09.2024, none appeared on behalf of the respondents.

Taking into consideration the facts of the case and on being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit, this Court is of the view that the delay may be condoned, however, on payment of cost.

Accordingly, the delay is condoned on payment of cost of Rs.1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) by the petitioner to the Tamilnadu Legal Aid Services Authority, Chennai, on or before 30.10.2024. If the cost is paid on or before 30.10.2024, this petition stands allowed and the Registry is directed to number the main appeal, if otherwise, in order and post it for admission on 04.11.2024. If the cost is not paid on or before 30.10.2024, this C.M.P. stands dismissed without any reference to this https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Court.
