The matter is placed before this court today on the letter received from the Court below, dated 29.07.2025, seeking extension of time for disposal of the Sessions Case involved in this Criminal Original Petition. 2.

Considering the reasons and the request made by the learned Sessions Judge, Special Court for exclusive trial of cases under POCSO Act, Chengalpattu, this Court is of the view that it is appropriate to extend the time by six months.
